Finance recruiter WH Marks Sattin is launching  a new division to take advantage of increasing demand for risk and compliance staff.

“We have already seen greater demand in the risk and general compliance area, and

we anticipate that this will increase,” Dave Way WH Mark Sattin’s managing director, told Recruiter.  “Compliance is getting tighter and tighter, particularly in banking,” Day adds.

The new team will be headed up by Glen Roberts as general manager, with Peter Clark as team leader.  Both previously worked in the company’s financial services team. The three other members of the new team have joined from the company’s investment banking, and insurance divisions.

The company recently became a preferred supplier for the FSA (Financial Services Authority), says Way, giving the new division an  additional boost.

The new division,  which will be based in the company’s London office, will be fully operational from January, says Way.
