Young people could be given time off for volunteering
Employers should give young people time off to carry out volunteer work, according to an inquiry.
The Morgan Inquiry recommends a new scheme to encourage employers, universities and colleges an extra day a year for volunteering.
The inquiry, spearheaded by Baroness Morgan of Huyton, Liverpool, in conjunction with a cross-party panel, discussed the future of young adult volunteering between the ages of 18 and 24.
