The Index also reveals while online recruitment activity fell month-on-month across most sectors, research & development registered the largest monthly rise of 5%, reaching an 18-month high. Legal and management & consulting were the only other sectors to record monthly growth, at 4% and 3% respectively.

London saw the highest monthly online recruitment activity growth, while the Midlands also posted a “robust” year-on-year increase.
