Totaljobs.com launches new oil, gas and alternative energy sector

Totaljobs.com has launched a new oil, gas and alternative energy sector. It is the 32nd sector on the site and follows rival Jobsite’s acqusition of oilcareers.com in January.

According to oil and utilities recruiter, Orion Group, this is a particularly buoyant market. Jonas Holme, business development manager at Orion Group, told Recruiter.co.uk: “The oil industry is buoyant. It’s busy. Everybody’s flat out, nobody is sitting at home, twiddling their thumbs.”

John Salt, website director, totaljobs.com said: “The growth of totaljobs.com as the UK’s biggest recruitment marketplace means we have to continue to develop and expand our offering. It is essential we cater to all our recruiters and jobseekers needs, covering all sectors from across the entire UK.”
