Online hiring activity in the US has increased, according to April’s CareerCast.com Employment Index.

The index posted a reading of 110.6 points, up 1.1 points on March and 18.3 points on April last year.
Jay Martin, chief operating officer, JobSerf, says: “Strong hiring continues to be sustained. Our research showed continued improvement as the month progressed.
“Eighty per cent of the cities in the Index showed a double digit increase in hiring activity this month.”
