Recruiter Michael Page International has appointed Simon Boddie to its board as an independent non-executive director and member of its audit, remuneration and nomination committees.

Boddie, the second such appointment in as many months, has been group finance director of electronic products firm Electrocomponents since 2005, joining from drinks giant Diageo.
