The company currently employs over 500 people in its call centre Swindon, however, the company has admitted that it is in discussion with a number of outsourcing firms.

Thames Water stresses that no decisions have been made. “No decisions have been taken regarding outsourcing the customer centre, but we have to assess all options including testing the market across a number of areas in the business,” says a spokesman for the company.
