Tender Recruitment has launched a website to make it easier for employers to use multiple recruitment agents to source candidates, giving employers the best chance of finding the right person for the job.

The website, tenderrecruitment.co.uk, aims to make the whole process more open and allows the employer to see the candidate’s CV before choosing a recruitment agency.

Employers post a job vacancy on the site, prompting recruitment agencies to send in their best two CVs per vacancy. This way, the employer receives only the best candidates from a wider pool of agencies.

The recruiters and the employers are protected by the website’s recruitment terms and conditions, which also cuts out the need for multiple negotiations with each agent. The employer can even set a cap on the maximum recruitment fee he is willing to pay.

James Hughes, director of Tender Recruitment, told Recruiter that the response “has so far been positive, with recruiters keen to sign up to it”.

Speaking about the concept, he said: “A national football coach would never pick the national team from one or two local clubs. He picks the best players from all the clubs in the country. So it is with Tender Recruitment.”
