It would appear that phrenology is not dead.
It would appear that phrenology is not dead. For those of you that didn’t pay attention in science, phrenology was the belief, now dismissed as bunkum, that a person’s capacity for a given personality trait could be determined simply by measuring the area of the skull that overlies the corresponding area of the brain.
Well it seems the long lost ‘science’ is making a comeback of sorts.
MyJobGroup.co.uk has analysed the faces of the UK’s most successful billionaire men and women and has revealed that certain facial features are surprisingly common among the super-rich.
Apparently, men possessing the Roman nose (eg Sir Phillip Green), wide set eyes (eg Lakshmi Mittal) and flared nostrils (eg Roman Abramovich and the Duke of Westminster) could be destined for wealth and business success, while women with long philtrums (eg Lady Green), high foreheads (eg Dame Mary Perkins) and flared eyebrows (eg Charlene Carvalho) could also be set for board-room domination.
