Online skills assessment provider Skillsarena has launched a suite of online psychometric evaluation tools aimed at helping employers identify traits such as attention skills, personality characteristics and cognitive aptitude for an individual role.

Jason Pierce, managing director of Skillsarena, explains: “In this tough economic climate with so many people fighting for jobs, it is vital employers utilise all the tools at their disposal to select the right person for the job they have on offer.

“Psychometric assessment is a powerful way of determining a candidate’s interpersonal style, characteristics and work habits, rather than taking at face value their qualifications and work experience. These short and cost-effective psychometric tools, together with our existing assessment services will give our clients unique insight into the candidate.”
