Saudi Arabia and Qatar lead job creation in the Gulf

Expats are more likely to land a new job in Saudi Arabia than in any other GCC country, according to the latest employment data from Middle East online recruitment firm GulfTalent.com.

Expats are more likely to land a new job in Saudi Arabia than in any other GCC country, according to the latest employment data from Middle East online recruitment firm GulfTalent.com.

The number of expatriate employees in Saudi Arabia increased by an estimated 2.4% in Q4 2009, followed by Qatar with a 2.2% increase. There was also a 0.3% rise in Oman.

Kuwait, UAE and Bahrain all saw a drop in the number of expatriate employees during Q4, with declines of 2.8%, 4.2% and 7.7% respectively.
