Tony Forbes-Leith, a director at life sciences recruiter RSA, has passed away after a long and serious illness.

Forbes-Leith and his wife Nicola joined RSA in 2008 to establish its London office in Baker Street.

In a statement, RSA said: “Tony had to undergo many difficult & very painful procedures and treatments. Wonderfully supported by his wife Nicola, he bore the effects of his illness and therapy with extraordinary bravery and cheerfulness, setting a remarkable example to everyone who came into contact with him in the office, on social occasions and in the hospitals where he received his care. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

“Nicola has lost a beloved husband, and we have lost a remarkable colleague - a true gentleman and a fine professional. Our hearts go out to Nicola and to Tony’s son Simon and daughter Emma.”
