Retail is increasingly prepared to pay more for digital talent, according to Jonathan Hall, director at digital recruitment specialist Cranberry Panda.

“The roles most in demand are online trading managers and specialist online marketing people — specialists in pay-per-click and SEO specialists.

“It varies between roles but they can earn 20% more within online retail than other sectors. There are more companies online but it is the most significant growth area for retailers.”
