Resource management, business change and strategy and planning are among the main New Year ‘resolutions’ for organisations’ IT functions, according to a survey by BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT. 

When asked to list the top three most pressing business issues that would most help their organisation’s IT function better enable the business in 2010, almost 60% said it was strategy and planning, while 45% opted for business change. And 37% put nurturing the talent and skills of their IT workforce ahead of resource management with 36%.
