Martin ups stake in Empresaria

Tony Martin, chairman of the international staffing and recruitment group Empresaria, has invested £384,000 to raise his stake in the company to 15.68%.

According to a statement released this morning (14 May), Martin acquired 400,000 shares at 96p per share, lifting his total holding in Empresaria to 5,241,618 shares.

The move reflects Martin’s high confidence in Empresaria’s positioning in the recruitment market, given its international holdings and focus on temporary placements. Martin shared his bullish view in his chairman’s statement with the release of Empresaria’s results in April.

His latest share purchase follows earlier investments in Empresaria over the past 15 months at 82p and 130p per share, totalling a further £2.67m.
