Randstad adjusts cash part of its offer to acquire Vedior

Randstad and Vedior announced yesterday that the cash part of Randstad's cash and shares offer for Vedior has been raised to 9.55 euros (£7.45) from 9.5 euros (£7.41) as a result of the declared 2007 dividend.

At the Dutch staffing giant’s annual general meeting, shareholders resolved on Wednesday to pay a 2007 dividend of 1.25 euros per Randstad share.

The cash part of the offer will now be decreased by Vedior's announced dividend of 0.36 euros, but increased by 0.41 euros (or 32.759 %) of Randstad's dividend of 1.25 as stated in the offer documentation).

his leads to an adjusted cash consideration of 9.55 euros.
