We’ve been used to recruiters appearing on – and even winning – TV shows such as The Apprentice, but tomorrow night on ITV’s X-Factor the recruitment industry can cheer on erstwhile top biller from Robert Walters and founder of Recruiting Excellence, Bradley Shackleton.
A descendant of the explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton, Brad has been chosen as one of the final six contestants in the Over 28s categories. If you happened to miss his audition for the programme, feast your eyes on this (below ad):
If that has given you a desire to see more of Brad’s charm and talent, he will be heading off to a stately home in the UK, where X-Factor judge and mentor, singer-songwriter Gary Barlow, will whittle his group down to four.
However, the man himself (Brad, not Gary Barlow) has been quoted in The Sun as saying that he hasn’t been getting the same airtime as other contestants. He tweeted: “Gutted I’ve had no ITV1 airtime so far. Really sucks and simply not fair.” And another said: “Thanks! Feel so special #noairtime.”
Well, hopefully we’ll get you a bit more of a following now Brad. Oh, and good luck for your performance tomorrow – let’s hope you’ve got the X-Factor!
