One in three workers are frustrated in their current job, according to a new survey.

The survey, from recruitment giant Randstad, shows that 33% of British workers feel unable to achieve their full potential in their current roles.

The employers surveyed admitted that 20% of staff would be better suited to a different role within the company and 16% of workers would be better suited to a different company entirely.

Commenting on the findings, Di Hartley, head of strategic HR at Randstad UK, says: “Engagement doesn’t just happen by finding someone with the right qualifications and experience. Personality, culture and company objectives all have a huge impact on the success of each employee.”
