The research, from England’s Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA), shows there has been a 40% increase in recruitment enquiries for jobs in teaching, the civil service and the charitable sector.

The survey also showed that applications for jobs in the civil service have increased by 33%.

Government plans to re-wire the state with civil servant moves

Thousands of civil servants – including senior leaders – will be based in 13 towns and cities across the UK to work with frontline workers and local leaders.
