Practicus sees dip in 2009 profit

Interim management firm Practicus has reported a fall in pre-tax profit to £725,000 for the year ended 31 December 2009, compared with £961,000 in 2008.

Interim management firm Practicus has reported a fall in pre-tax profit to £725,000 for the year ended 31 December 2009, compared with £961,000 in 2008.

Practicus saw its gross profit for the year reach £7.3m in 2009, compared with £7m a year earlier. The company’s turnover for the year was £35.2m, compared with £33.3m in 2008.

In accounts posted at Companies House, the directors said that they were pleased with the performance in the tough market conditions.

Practicus created two 100% owned trading companies in the Netherlands and Australia in 2009.
