Multi-sector recruiter Now Recruitment has hired Tracey Androlia (left) as development director. Androlia, who will lead all aspects of staff training in the firm, runs her own recruitment training company, Purple Clarity, and has worked with Now Recruitment on a consultancy basis since September last year.

Education staffing specialist Alderwood Education has appointed Jamie Harding as operations manager. Working in the firm’s schools team, Harding will be responsible for further developing relationships with key clients across the South of England.

Following legal recruiter ASA Law’s recent acquisition by Initio International, Daniel Lewis has been promoted to managing director of ASA Law, while Keith Miles has been appointed as director. Lewis was previously a director at ASA Law, while Keith Miles was a senior consultant.

HR recruiter Astralis Group has promoted Matt Wallis and Kris McMahon to associate directors. Wallis and McMahon will take increased responsibility for guiding the future direction and growth of permanent and interim recruitment within the UK and internationally. They will also each retain their focus on delivering senior level search and selection assignments within the HR practice.

Legal recruiter EC1 Partners has appointed David Fox as head of operations. The qualified solicitor and law graduate joins the firm to head up the legal department.

Marc Ansell (right) has joined Firebrand Talent Search as director of Europe. Ansell was previously managing director at international recruiter Devonshire Group.

Executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles has appointed Todd Taylor as partner in its financial services practice. Taylor, previously co-founder and managing partner of a hedge fund advisory firm, will focus primarily on clients in the wealth management sector.

Technical recruitment and training firm Russell Taylor Associates has appointed Liz Reeder (left) as business development manager. Reeder will be responsible for helping to sustain continued growth within the business, and develop new relations with contractors and companies across sectors including engineering, construction and automotive.

Richard Barker has returned to Kelly Services as business unit leader EMEA for Kelly Engineering Resources (KER) and Kelly IT Resources (KITR). Barker, who will be based in Manchester, will oversee the EMEA operations of the KER and KITR offices serving Germany, Hungary, Russia, UK, France, Italy, Norway and Poland.

Industrial recruiter Transline Resource has appointed Jenni Hardy as finance director. Hardy was previously with law firm Grant Thornton where she handled audit of Transline Resource’s accounts.

Andy Wells has been appointed as operations director at umbrella firm FPS Group. Wells has been promoted from technical director at the company.

Middle East hotel chain Safir International Hotels has appointed Ahmed Mourad as corporate HR director. He was previously country director of HR & sustainable development at Accor Egypt.
