Online job search peak predicted today

Jobsite MyJobGroup.co.uk predicts that today will be the busiest day for job searches of 2011.

Jobsite MyJobGroup.co.uk predicts that today will be the busiest day for job searches of 2011.

Mark Riley, marketing manager of MyJobGroup.co.uk, says: “Our busiest day has traditionally been the first Tuesday back in the office after 1 January.

“However, the unprecedented cold weather across the UK means we’ve seen a slower build up this year, but every weekday has been busier than the last and we’re expecting the absolute peak to be 11 January.

“With many either simply happy to be in employment, or forced to stay put in 2010 due to the recession, we’re expecting this year to be our busiest yet as the economy improves and more people start looking for new roles.”
