Omega Resource Group named as Backing Young Britain partner

Recruitment and training firm Omega Resource Group has been named as a key partner of the government’s Backing Young Britain campaign.

Recruitment and training firm Omega Resource Group has been named as a key partner of the government’s Backing Young Britain campaign.

Launched in January, the national initiative aims to provide 5,000 work experience placements and 20,000 internships to unemployed 18-24 year olds across the UK who have not been to university.

Omega aims to secure over 1,000 positions across the South-West, South Wales and Midlands, alongside contractor Reed in Partnership.

Robert Dove, divisional director of Omega Resource Group, says: “This is a truly innovative scheme by the government to give young people a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience that they might not otherwise have had, and fight the notion that we have a generation of youths who do not, and do not want to, work.”
