Small recruitment agencies which lack a specialism, operate at the lower end of the market and lag behind in their adoption of new technologies will find themselves increasingly under threat in the next 10 years, a Jobsite report says.

However, the next decade will bring new opportunities for some recruiters, the report Recruitment in 2019 went on to say.  A key area will be in the continuing ‘war for talent’ when specialist recruiters’ in-depth knowledge will be required to help employers pinpoint the best talent.

Opportunities will come also for “specialists who add value through their understanding of the increasingly complex environment and through their implementation of that knowledge, deliver the most effective results for their clients”, the report said.
