NHS Professionals wins place on national framework for Managed Service Staff Bank

NHS Professionals, a provider of managed flexible services to the NHS, has won a place on the national framework for Managed Service Staff Bank.

NHS Professionals, a provider of managed flexible services to the NHS, has won a place on the national framework for Managed Service Staff Bank.

The framework is a collaboration of London Procurement Programme (LPP), the University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and a number of  other London Trusts, which  sets out to: improve efficiency in filling shift requests, cut usage of and associated cost of agencies, and improve management information across a number of key  performance indicators such as shift demand and bank staff costs.

The framework runs from 3 August to 2 August 2013.

NHS Professionals is a private limited company, wholly owned by the Department of Health, but set to be part or wholly sold by the government. It competes with private business for tenders on level footing.
