International recruiter Morgan Hunt has agreed a two-year partnership with the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust to support young people not in education, employment or training (NEETs) to find employment.

The firm will sponsor the Trust’s Get On Track programme, which helps vulnerable young people into volunteering, work placements and employment opportunities, while receiving mentoring support from elite sports performers who know what it is like to face adversity and overcome the odds to succeed.

Morgan Hunt aims to work with the Trust to deliver up to six Get On Track programmes around the country over the next two years, providing funding and access to employment opportunities.

Gavin Megnauth, head of corporate social responsibility (CSR) at Morgan Hunt, says: “Even graduates are finding it difficult to enter employment - for disadvantaged young people with little or no training, the challenge is even more stark.  We believe the industry has a responsibility to help, and are making even more of a commitment to CSR this year because of the recessionary times we find ourselves in.”
