Strategic outsourcing and energy services provider MITIE has launched PeopleCert, an employee screening service.

The service comprises a range of background checks for pre-employment and on-going screening. 

Bob Forsyth, managing director for MITIE’s total security management business, says: “We continue to build on our total security management ethos and it made sense for us to use the expertise we have in employee screening to offer screening checks that are vital for total business protection.

“Our people are our greatest asset and we are confident in their backgrounds and right to work in the UK. In cases where people can’t be certain of the people who work for them, their business and reputation could be at risk.”
