Employer-only media recruitment portal Media C2C has launched.

The start-up is a subscription service that provides a secure online environment for companies to search for candidates using CV-matching software and allows media recruiters to connect directly with job candidates.

As the service creates a direct relationship between employers and candidates there are no agency fees for employers to pay.

Clients can also use the service to advertise vacant positions — this advertising is free if employers subscribe to the search and match service.

Jobseekers can register their CV or apply for jobs via the site, while candidates in employment can upload their details, remaining anonymous until a candidate accepts an approach from an employer.
