Provocative speakers and challenging topics will dominate the agenda at the Fifth Recruiter Annual Forum, to be held on 30 March 2011 in Central London.

Aimed at the recruitment industry’s senior decision makers, hot strategic business topics for next year’s forum range from developing the ultimate candidate-sourcing strategy to the thinking behind the much-debated Premier Foods’ preferred supplier programme in which partners can pay £10,000 to invest in the company’s future.

The threats and opportunities faced by agency recruiters in the growth of in-house teams, insight into the hidden nuts and bolts of the Agency Workers Directive 2011 (AWD) and measuring your social media strategy against your competitors’ will also be explored at the one-day conference.

And for business owners, the panel session ’Attracting a buyer or investor to your business’ will bring together some of the most influential minds in recruitment mergers and acquisitions to discuss getting the best investors at the best value. Panellists will include Kevin Barrow of law firm Osborne Clarke, Christopher Clark of BDO, Tim Evans of Boxington Corporate Finance and Chris Harper of Baird Capital Partners Europe.

“This event is intended to get people talking and really examine the ins and outs of the issues and challenges facing recruitment businesses today,” said Recruiter editor DeeDee Doke.

“We are also delighted that one of the world’s greatest sourcing experts, Eric Jaquith, is going to join us from the US for a session.”
