Losses at job board

JobServe made a pre-tax loss of £5.8m in the year ended 30 September 2009, compared with a profit of £2.2m in 2008.

Accounts posted at Companies House revealed that the job board’s revenue fell to £8.9m, compared with £14.9m a year earlier. However, the company posted gross profit of £6.2m, down from £12.8m in 2009. The accounts also revealed that the average time a job was posted to its website was unchanged at 14 days.
