Keywords key to Twitter success

Recruiters have been urged to emphasise keywords when using Twitter.

Speaking at ‘Social Media in Recruitment’, an event organised by online recruitment marketing consultancy Web Based Recruitment, Bill Fischer, co-founder and director of TwitterJob Search, told delegates that emphasising such key words as the job title makes it easier for the site to pick up a vacancy.

Fischer, whose site grabs meta-data and associates that back in its search results, told delegates: “The fun thing is our goal is to pick up on everything. Things that will make it easier is putting the job title on the Tweet.”
