JOBJOURNEYNorthWest.co.uk bucks summer trend by reporting bumper visits

Jobsite JOBJOURNEYNorthWest.co.uk has reported that it has bucked the trend of the quieter summer period.

In July, the site generated over 32,000 applications from 80,389 jobseekers. The jobsite also reported a 13% increase in the amount of jobseekers signing up for jobs. Its CV database grew by 14% to 11,228.

Jumoke Oyadare, group marketing manager at JOBJOURNEY, said: “It’s been a great year for JOBJOURNEY. We’ve gone from being the new job board in the region to one that is challenging traditional forms of recruiting and leading the way. But we’re not resting on our laurels – the market is changing on a daily basis and there’s a lot going on behind the scenes to ensure that we stay at the top. The next year ahead will therefore present as many challenges as this one, but will be exciting nevertheless.”
