Unemployment in the Eurozone has reached its highest level since the Euro launched in 1999, climbing by 0.1% in September to reach 10.2% last month, reports The Times.

Spain (21.2%) and Greece (16.7%) unsurprisingly figure amongst the countries with the highest unemployment rates, with Latvia (16.2%) also suffering.
The lowest levels of joblessness were seen in the Netherlands (5.6%), Austria and Luxembourg, the latter two having less than 5% unemployment.
UK unemployment reached a 17-year high of 8.1% in September.
