An expansion at Bahamian luxury resort Albany Bahamas will create 650 jobs, according to thebahamasweekly.com.
The news service reports Prime Minister Perry Christie – also the country’s finance minister – as saying the total development would eventually have an investment value of BSD$1.3bn (£820m).Christie also thanked Albany’s managing partner Christopher Anand for remaining committed to the project, which had been in the works since 2006, through the economic downturn.
The finished development will comprise around 350 residences.
