ManpowerGroup has rebranded its operations in India and China, and will now operate under the company’s Experis global brand.

Experis will focus on the IT and engineering sectors, as well as executive search.

Managing director of ManpowerGroup China Danny Yuan says: “The rapid growth and burgeoning middle class in the country has caused a surge in domestic demand, making it extremely difficult for employers to find qualified talent for many jobs, including IT, executive and engineering positions.”

Manpower has 91 offices in China, and 120,000 people on assignment every day, compared to 100,000 in the US.

Namr Kishore, head of Experis India says: “ManpowerGroup’s 2011 Talent Shortage Survey found that 67% of Indian employers cannot fill key vacancies, and IT and engineering positions again figure prominently in the list of the hardest jobs to fill.”
