Executive search firm Pedersen & Partners has opened new offices in Bogota, Colombia and Madrid, Spain, taking on a total of six consultants.

Alvaro Arias becomes Pedersen & Partners’ partner in charge of Spain and Latin America. He has over 12 years of executive search experience, specialising in banking, private equity, telecom, media, professional services and industry.

Puri Paniagua and Carlos Recarte O’Ryan become principals for Spain. Paniagua worked with consultancy Accenture for over 20 years before entering executive search in 2008, while O’Ryan has 12 years’ experience recruiting executives across Spain and Latin America.

Elisa Martinez de Miguel becomes principal of the Madrid office, and has over a decade of executive search experience.

Fernanda Garcia is country manager for Colombia at Pedersen & Partners.
