Most Polish firms (52%) are recruiting professionals, while 30% are firing professionals and managers, an Antal survey shows. Recruitment levels are the highest in pharmacy (89%), IT & Telecom (64%) and FMCG (63%), and the lowest in automotive (22%) or real estate and building (33%).

Firms hiring workers into the UAE from abroad will be able to extend group work permits that have expired, under a procedure approved by the UAE’s ministry of labour.

Global recruiter Hays has launched Hays Russia, with an office in Moscow. Hays Russia will focus on permanent staffing solutions for professional, technical and admin roles in accountancy & finance, pharma, IT and telecoms, engineering, HR, legal and sales & marketing. Hays also plans to enter oil & gas, banking, and construction & property.
