Umbrella services company I-paye has launched a dedicated tax service aimed at meeting a growing demand of EU nationals taking up senior jobs in the UK.

Paul Hughes, director and taxation specialist at I-paye, says: “One of the most interesting aspects of the current economic climate is the inward migration of highly skilled EU nationals. These workers are often not familiar with our income tax and social security system.

“A growing number of recruitment agencies, clients and contractors are approaching us to help them negotiate the potential taxation minefield which can easily trap the unwary or badly advised.”
