A scattergun approach from candidates is ensuring finding good customer services people is becoming more labour intensive, according to Paul Harper, recruitment consultant – commercial division at ASC Connections.
Harper, who recruits customer services advisers, team leaders and customer services managers, told Recruiter: “Resourcing candidates is now more labour intensive. Advertising and resourcing is another concern, particularly with entry levelroles, due to the volume of unsuitable applications that employers receive.
“Resourcing has now become much more labour intensive for both recruiters and our clients. This is partly due to an increasing number of candidates with a ‘one-click’ approach to jobseekingrather than tailoring a smaller number of applications to roles that they have suitable experience for.”
