Hudson UK CEO resigns

Global recruitment and talent management company Hudson has confirmed that Andy Rogerson, chief executive of Hudson UK, has resigned and will leave the company at the end of January.

The role of CEO for the UK and Ireland will be assumed by Christine Raynaud, president and CEO of Hudson Europe. Raynaud has led Hudson’s European operations, including the UK/Ireland business, since April 2004 and will combine the roles, relocating to London.

A Hudson spokeswoman told Recruiter that Rogerson stepped down for personal reasons after working in the role since 2007. He had previously been the company’s country manager for Scotland.

The UK business, which is the largest in Hudson’s European network, has five managing director roles who oversee three regions (Ireland, Scotland and the England region) and two businesses, Talent Management/Workforce Solutions and the IT business. A sixth MD, who will oversee London, will be announced within a few weeks. All of the MDs will now report directly to Raynaud.

“While economic uncertainty hangs over the region, I am confident that with the strength of the existing UK/Ireland leadership team, coupled with the strength of our value proposition and innovative approach, we will emerge stronger than ever as the country recovers. I am looking forward to the challenge,” Raynaud said in a prepared statement.
