I felt compelled to write just to say AT LAST!!!!! A realistic and down to earth ‘Diary of…’ section from Sharon O’Mahoney (Recruiter, 29 April).

Recently I have been sick to death of reading a load of absolute cobblers from recruiters too afraid to write about the truth and how difficult this industry can be.

Too many times I have read about agency owners starting their weeks off by having a mass backpatting, self-congratulatory session and having a celebratory drink out of their office Smeg refrigerator.

Well done, Sharon! Very refreshing and honest.
