Hiring is set to increase in the US, according to a new study from recruitment analyst CareerXroads.

The research shows that 48% of US firms expect to increase headcount, while only 10.8% predict further reductions in hiring.

The research also shows that internal transfers and promotions were the source of 51% of all the full time positions firms filled on average, while referrals made up 26.7% of all external hires.
