Healthcare staffing specialist Healthcare Locums (HCL) has appointed a financial adviser.

The firm has appointed Hawkpoint Partners as financial adviser, while Fairfax IS remains HCL’s nominated adviser and joint broker.

Last month, HCL accepted the resignation of Diane Jarvis as chief financial officer of the firm, following an HCL investigation into financial irregularities that occurred during her tenure as CFO and for which she accepted responsibility.

Chairman Peter Sullivan said: “This appointment is part of the process of getting the necessary advisory support in place to take the company forward, given the challenges posed by the events leading up to the present situation. Hawkpoint will work with our other advisers to ensure that value for all stakeholders is maximised.”
