HB RIDA, the joint venture between the Recruitment Industry Development Agency (RIDA) and private equity firm Hamilton Bradshaw, has launched Unisca, a members only business support and networking group for owner-managers within the recruitment sector.
Unisca will be formed from a regional network of groups enabling owner-managers to discuss issues, challenges and opportunities. Members will gain advice in a non competitive environment and learn from guest experts. The first session will focus on business planning for 2010 and will be given by HB RIDA chairman James Caan.
Helen Reynolds, managing director of HB RIDA, says: “2009 has been a challenging year for everyone and while the economic outlook for 2010 is looking more positive, it still won’t be a walk in the park.
“One of the main reasons HB RIDA came into being was the fact that many recruitment entrepreneurs don’t actually need cash to help them grow – they need business support and advice. The launch of Unisca means that we will be able to offer that support and advice to a wider audience.”
