Handle Recruitment has launched a HR mentoring scheme, which will see media and entertainment HR professionals offer each other developmental guidance and opportunities through mentoring.

The media and entertainment recruiter is responsible for managing and administering the scheme, as well as match-making mentors with mentees from organisations such as 20th Century Fox, TripAdvisor, BBC Worldwide and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

HR director Gill Bell says: “When it comes to learning and development budgets, HR departments are often last on the list. We think HR departments deserve more investment and that’s why we’ve launched this mentoring scheme. Our aim is to make a real difference to the development of HR talent and, with mentors from leading entertainment businesses on board offering their guidance and time, we’re hoping to create something revolutionary.”
