G4S launches new global recruitment solution

G4S’s new corporate careers website will offer a greater level of engagement with candidates, according to global head of resourcing Colin Minto.

G4S’s new corporate careers website will offer a greater level of engagement with candidates, according to global head of resourcing Colin Minto.

The international security solutions group’s new corporate careers website aims to provide centralised access to all global vacancies within the group, as well as a central hub for information, news and advice which can be continually distributed through a variety of social media channels.

Minto says: “This is a very exciting time for resourcing at G4S. We have managed to create a truly global recruitment solution that integrates local needs into a global recruiting portal.

“The system will allow any hiring manager to not only place advertisements but also have candidates instantly matched to their roles, as well as providing a comprehensive, searchable, candidate database.

“For candidates, the biggest change will be the level of engagement that is offered to them. The opportunity to create a rich profile featuring their social media channels and personalised information, a vast amount of information about best practice in finding work both in written and video format, including community based forums and groups, as well as offering the largest resource for researching G4S and how to work with us offers candidates a richer experience where they will feel connected to the company and supported by G4S in their search for employment.”
