FPSG wins Midlothian Council deal
First People Solutions Group has won a £6m care at home services contract with Midlothian Council.
Maureen O’Neill, FPSG’s director of public sector, explained to Recruiter that the firm’s First People Care Solution, the health and social care brand, has worked closely with Midlothian Council as one of their domiciliary care at home service providers for the last three years.
“This is unusual as the market is normally dominated by care provider companies, not recruitment consultancies,” O’Neill says. “However, FPSG’s unique approach to council and individual needs, in-house expertise in both recruitment and health and social care - along with an unparalleled dedication to quality standards and continuity of care - have garnered them fantastic results, providing once again the quality is valued over price of service.”
The Council’s decision to award FPSG the contract was announced last week.
“We are delighted and extremely proud to have our quality standards recognised with the award of this contract,” O’Neill says. She believes that FPSG had continually pushed the boundaries of creative thinking and quality in terms of service delivery in the health and social care markets.
“We have built excellent relationships over the last years both with Midlothian Council and the residents of the community. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our Care Team at First People for their dedication over the last three years. We look forward to being able to replicate this success for other local authorities across Scotland!”
