The majority of British workers are prepared to take a pay-cut in order to retain colleagues, according to a new survey.
The survey, from job board fish4jobs, found that that although 49% of workers expect their salary to be cut or frozen this year, they would rather take a pay cut than watch colleagues be forced from their jobs
The vast majority of respondents (79%) added that they thought bosses’ pay and/or bonuses should be cut to see their company through the current economic downturn.
