Qualifications are the least important part of the recruitment process for employers, according to research from learning and training solutions provider Infinity Learning.

Four out of five respondents called professional experience the most important consideration when reviewing an applicant, ahead of qualifications and potential.

However, one third of respondents do look at qualifications before other considerations, with a greater trend being to look at qualifications in specialist roles.
