Increasing its intake of female apprentices was an “amazing achievement” which has played a key role in energy firm E.ON picking up the award for Best Diversity Recruitment Strategy at Recruiter’s Awards for Excellence, supported by Innovate CV.

At the awards ceremony last week at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, E.ON’s apprenticeship campaign was recognised as a benchmark for making the resourcing team and its whole business think differently about how it recruited, the channels it used to recruit and who it recruited.

For full coverage of the awards, see the latest issue of Recruiter, out Wednesday. In this issue find out what makes CEO of Best Professional Services Recruitment Agency Goodman Masson, Guy Hayward tick, discover the latest recruitment trends in the renewable energy sector and read about how Capp helped Ernst & Young enhance its selection processes.
